Upto £400K - I'm looking for a house, preferable detached with a rural or semi/rural location within commuting distance to London. I am 6ft 2" so need enough head height for me (rules out some cottages!), and would like 3 + bedrooms ideally. Will consider all periods, and happy with a fair amount of restorative work as see it as much about maintaining architectural legacy as creating a home.

Ideally we would like to stay in town but equally if we were to move out we would want to be commutable into Kings Cross/Euston/Waterloo

Looking up to £1mil, anywhere in Uk but needs to be within close distance to an airport, he would prefer a property in need of restoration but will consider anything if it’s the right property. He would like something special and quite Grand in it’s appearance.

If the property has 2 bedrooms, I would like an opportunity to extend.I will need to travel to harborne everyday so will need to be within reasonable travelling distance
